FAQs

These are just a few questions that are most commonly asked, however if your question isn’t on this list, please feel free to contact me here and I will do my best to answer your question or query as soon as possible.

Where is your jewellery made?

All of my jewellery is handmade by me in my Dublin workshop.

Are all your pieces made in silver and gold?

Yes, I use 100% recycled .925 Sterling Silver and 9 carat gold. If you would like a piece from my collections in 14ct or 18ct gold, please get in touch and we can discuss these options. None of the pieces in my collections are plated by another metal.

Can I reuse my own silver, gold or stones?

Yes and no. Unfortunately, the time that goes into remodelling silver renders the value of it to be quite low and would end up being more expensive than starting from new. As the value of gold is quite high, I can melt and reuse your gold, provided that it has an original hallmark stamped on it, to verify the fineness or carat of gold. I can visually assess your gold and can confirm if we can use it or not. Remodelling gold is a time-consuming process so will not necessarily reduce the cost of your piece, but I will give you a clear quote before any remodelling is started and you can make a decision then. I can also visually assess your stones for reuse; however, I cannot grade stones or accurately identify them if I have not sourced them for you.

Can I have a piece customised?

Yes, many of my pieces can be customised. Please get in touch with me before purchasing and I can advise you on the customisation options.

Can you use this piece or image I have and make a piece for me exactly like this?

No, I cannot copy another artist’s work. My style of jewellery is quite broad though, and if you find you are looking for something specific, you can send me an email and we can discuss this further. If I feel I would not be the best person to accomplish your goal for you, I will do my best to recommend another jeweller to you that would suit your request, however I cannot guarantee that they will complete the task you are looking for.

How long will it take to get my piece of jewellery?

The wait time for all of my jewellery is listed on the individual product pages. All customisations, outside of a different length of chain, can take up to 8 weeks to complete, however sometimes they can be done quicker. Please be patient, this business is a one woman show but I will do my absolute best to get your new jewellery to you as soon as possible. If there is a specific deadline for a piece, like a birthday or anniversary, please contact me before purchasing and I will let you know if it is at all possible to expedite the process.

I don’t know what my ring size is, can you help me figure it out?

Of course, I would be delighted to. Please head over to my sizing page where I have gone into detail on how to get your ring size.

Can I have a ring resized?

Yes, I can resize any ring you have bought from my collections. Usually, rings can be resized up or down by 5 sizes. Anything smaller or larger would be a bespoke piece and would be quoted for separately. Unfortunately I am unable to offer resizing of work that isn’t my own. Get in touch by emailing me and I will discuss the next steps for resizing with you.

Can I have a different length necklace?

Yes, you can. All of my pendants come as standard on an 18” chain, this is how they are all photographed and modelled so you can see the scale. If you would like a 16” or 20” chain, please let me know in the comment box in the cart. If you have received your pendant and have decided once trying it that you would like a different length chain, please email me and let me know. You can send the pendant back to me, at your own cost, and I will replace the chain free or charge and post it back to you, at my own cost. I am not responsible for the pendant until it reaches me, so I would advise registered post or courier.

Can you repair a piece for me that I bought somewhere else?

Unfortunately, I cannot offer repair or resizing of other jewellers’ work.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, I do. Please see the dedicated shipping policy page here for more details.

How is my order packaged?

Your order is packaged in black velvet boxes, that have the NF logo stamped in gold lettering on the inside of the box. This box is then placed in a shipping box that has tissue paper and box stuffing inside it, to ensure the safe travelling of your new piece to you. I also include my business card and a thank you card. I have endeavoured to make all packaging as recyclable as possible and with the exception of the actual box the piece comes in, everything else can be recycled.

How is my piece shipped and how much is it?

Shipping is free on all orders. Pieces under €1000 in value will be sent via registered signed for post. Please visit the shipping policy page here for more details.

Is tax included in the price?

Tax is included in the price within Ireland and the EU. Tax can be deducted for any order outside of Ireland and the EU, please email me before purchasing so this can be arranged. Please be aware that you are liable for any and all import duties.
